MY HOME!

This year we transferred to Negros because my dad has a new work. He transferred there so that he will also be able to handle our family business. we transferred to very beautiful place, Bais. I want to give you a simple introduction to our new hometown.



Bais City is a 2nd class city in the province of Negros, Oriental. According to the 2007 census, it had a population of 74,702 people in more than 13,199 households. Located 44.7 km from the provincial capital Dumaguete, it has land area of 316.90 km².



Bais City is the largest producer of raw sugar in Negros Oriental. There are two sugar mills in the city. The Central Azucarera de Bais was established by Tabacalera of Spain in the early 1900s and is one of the oldest in the country. It is Where my dad is working. . The other mill, URSUMCO (Universal Robina Sugar Milling Corporation) was formerly UPSUMCO (United Planters Milling Corporation) and constructed in the mid '70s by Marubeni Corporation of Japan as a project of Ignacio Montenegro (also of Spanish roots).

This picture was taken during the Journalism workshop. I am sitting with my friends, Mandee, Kristina and Shaira. It was fun. We learned new things from it. Even though I was no able to get an award , I am still grateful for the new things that I have learned.

FUN RUN!!

This picture was taken last August 8, 2010 during the Assumption Centennial Family Fun Run with my friends. The event was sponsored by H.S. Batch 1994 and H.S. Batch 1992. The event was successful. Everybody enjoyed it, including me and my friends. I will never forget that day of fun and unity among the Assumption family.

time with my friends

I had a very fun weekend!! On Friday night, my cousin arrived.. I was surprised to see him.. At first I didn't recognize him after a year not seeing him. But when I came closer, I recognized his almond eyes.. He invited me and my sister to have our dinner at Bourbon.. After we had dinner, his friends arrived and I met new people. They were nice and fun to be with.. One of his friends is a designer of bag.. We had a good talk but I was a bit shy while I was talking to her.. We had a fun night!:D


On saturday night, I had dinner with my fiends, Kat, Pau,Jerli, Charlotte,Kim, Mia, Hazel, Jozen and Millie.. We had our dinner at Krua Thai..It was Kat's birthday so it was her treat. It was also that night when I met my best friend Jerli after how many weeks not seeing her.. I missed her so much that I invited her to have a walk with me (alone)..We shared each other's problems and advises.. I feel sad thinking that 2-3 weeks from now she will be leaving for europe. Jer2 is my friend who always understands me and I am thankful to have her..
When we went back to Krua Thai they were already having dinner as a result we were the last one to finish eating. After we had our dinner, we went to coffeebreak to buy food..We talked and shared our thoughts there.. we had fun! and then we went home...

busy week

What a busy week. there are many assignments even though it's the 3rd week of classes. we need to reasearch for something everyday. every weekend i still need to wash my clothes as part of being independent. I dont mean that my parents doesnt support me that is why im independent but they want me to learn how to stand on my own and be responsible. i was also put in the dormitory for me to practice how to be independent. it is so tiring everyday like i dont have time to rest or enjoy but it is okay for i know it will benefit me in the future. i know that this is just a preparation for my future life that is why im finding a way how to enjoy this kind of life.
